Tad, I expect them to be somewhat "different beasts" based on both the builders approaches (John and Bruce) and the materials (denser/lower damping vs. lighter/higher damping). As you know, I am delighted with both Bruce's Bigleaf Maple/German Spruce JZ/2 and also John's Honduran Rosewood/Carpathian Cabaret (Nylon) carved back efforts...
