Good stuff, Bry. And I think it was the Lucky 13 that was quickly, (too quickly IMO) labeled as a "blues box" by some, not the Savoy.

There was a thread in 3/17 where someone said the the tone in the videos they saw of the savoy were "appropriate for blues and ragtime". It probably plays those styles very well, but I think the savoy plays all styles very well.
