As for the myths, etc. I wouldn't let them bother you. It's only a piece of music. I do remember that this child of the '50's had the pants scared off me when I saw the Disney version from "Fantasia" on TV. Truth to tell it still sorta gives me the hebe jebe's when I hear it now!
