So a 640mm scale at $350, plus a 49mm nut width at $300, plus a compound elliptical neck profile at $500, would be a $1150 neck.
I'm at the point in my playing where "close enough" isn't close enough. At these prices, even if only a relatively small number of customers require this level of precision, custom necks could be a financially viable option for any cf guitar maker.
