Personally, if I were going to spend $1500.00 on a nice 00, Sigma wouldn't be the first brand that comes to mind. I mean, it might be a very nice guitar, but I think I'd be looking at something more of a known quantity, like Martin, Larrivee, Gibson, etc.

Just from the pictures, the top didn't look as nicely silked/quartersawn as any of the Larrivees I've seen, for example. I'm not trashing Sigma here and I've played some nice ones, but these are mass-produced imports and at that price range I would be checking out the aforementioned brands, or looking for a really nice used high-end guitar.

If you actually played one that you just absolutely fell in love with, that's a different story.
