Semi-Standard styles--

OM=orchestral model
L=large-bodied, classical-style shape for steel strings (Larrivee's "proprietary" shape)
P=parlor
D=dread

add a V and you have cutaway
add a MT and you have a hog top
add an "e" and you have some sort of electric pickup, brand differs based upon year built and model number.

03=satin finish, mahogany back/sides
03R=satin finish, rosewood back & sides
05=gloss body, hog back & sides
06=semi-traditional herringbone (maple binding)+ rosewood

09=gloss, rosewood b & s, better inlay, etc...
10 and other numbers are various degrees of more bling

I think Larrivee makes some awesome guitars at a more than reasonable price. I love the bound fretboards, and ebony fretboard/bridge appointments even in their "low" 03 series. I also like the idea that they still use a traditional dovetail joint like the Martins. Their bracing is symmetrical which gives them (imo) a woody, balanced sound. Also easy for left-handers to re-string with no structural damage to the guitar.

Someone more knowledgeable can add to this.
