You say the trick is to NOT use any EQ. Instead, to use a
impulse response IR. I tried to follow along the explanation, but it's a bit over my head (I'm a mechanical engineer... not an EE!). Could you maybe explain it in more laymen's terms?
I'm pretty happy with my K&K + mag sound, but I have a Lyric that I was going to sell... now I'm curious...
