I have played and have both wood and carbon guitars. Your climate conditions can force to choose I guess. But to me I will always have both. My carbon guitars don't match my hand made wood acoustics. But my doubleneck Emerald just can't be made in wood. My Rainsong Jumbo is just cool sometimes. I also think we often fret way too much about wood guitars, but I don't live on a boat.
