There's playing barre chords, and there's really playing barre chords.
A beginner can take a few hours to a few days to play a single barre chord cleanly. Some may take a few weeks. A few will never make it.
As for playing clean barres swiftly and being really good at it, a lot of so called advanced player never even get there. It takes years of practice to become really really good at it.
