I used to leave my Alhambra (cedar over sapele) case open whenever I was home just for the smell. Now I have little ones in the house and that's a dangerous game. But every time I pull that guitar out of its case I'm greeted with that aroma. I've always assumed it was the cedar smell, but someone on here once talked about how great and fragrant sapele is, so I don't know now. All I know is it smells good 8 years after they made it!
