I think I'm starting to lean towards adding the circles. I've been asking a lot of people and it's close to a split decision, but a little bit more on the side of putting them in.
I'll have a similar theme on the slotted headstock and end-graft and am considering something on the bridge and fingerboard as well. Might even show up in some other places I don't even know about yet! That's one of the things I love about this kind of project; I have a general idea about where I'm headed but really enjoy the unexpected twists and turns!
