Default FS: Martin D-18 GE 1934 Custom Shop, $SOLD

2011 with all the GE bells and whistles, plus the back and sides are Makore. Reportedly, only TWO of these were built, both for Nazareth Music. Sound is loud, clear and beautiful!

Makore is a lesser known tonewood that comes from the West African Rainforest. It’s a bit harder and stiffer than African Mahogany, with a corresponding boost in overall frequency response and high frequency overtones. The wood has nice tight grain, and often displays beautiful bee’s wing and fiddleback figure.

Custom Shop spec sheets can be sent upon request. Nut is 1 & 3/4”. Case also in excellent condition.

There are three < pin head sized indents on the top that you can only see from 6" with a bright light. Some pick scratches below the guard that again can only be seen very close up and could be polished out. A little bit of marring on the back along an edge where I think the original owner drug it across his belt.... see pic.

$SOLD plus shipping and PayPal, if applicable.
