Tell more about the kitchen remodel. We did our throughout the summer of 2013, and I spent 6 months before that researching everything as it was a gut reno (starting over, basically). It was not an easy thing but i found it very rewarding to do, actually. I subsequently did the same with our back hall/mudroom, and our attic was also gutted and totally re done including moving walls and ceilings, and adding a furnace/AC up there, last summer.
Currently, I am working on designs for the gut reno of our dining room that will, hopefully, taking place in a couple of months.
