Both of the Martins I have owned, the SWDGT and the HD-28 liked 80/20s over PBs and nickel brozne. The 80/20s just give them some extra zing that sounds really nice. Everything else I put PBs on by default but I experiments with other strings just in case, I used PBs on a HD-28 for years and it sounded great buit it just really came alive the first time I put 80/20s on it.
