Personally I wouldn't buy that $4300 SG for two reasons:
1. As Dru mentioned the middle pickup may interfere with your playing style. It does mine.
2. You'll take a serious hit on resale value.

I love all four of my current SG's. What's amazing to me is that the $500 SGJ is one of the best playing and sounding guitars I've owned. I played lots of gigs with it and it's been great.
That's the SG I was referring to in my post. It has the 120th anniversary inlay at the 12th fret and zebra '61 pickups. Great guitar. The faded finish is starting to wear but not a problem for me.
