I'm wondering if I use the iRig and Lyric together will it get a better sound than the blue yeti?

Is there high data loss through the iRig? Can the iRig be used simultaneously with an iPhone camera to record?
I can only answer the last question: yes, the iRig will be captured by an iPhone video recording.

Other than that the only way to determine the result is to try the experiment, any opinion without experience is just conjecture and even experience can be quite tricky.

And I keep thinking that if you're "quite satisfied" with what you have ...
