Bill, the nanoweb elixirs feel quite different than the original polyweb. You oughta try a set.

That said, I enjoy trying lots of different string brands just to see what I like. I often settle on D'Addario P-B strings (both coated and uncoated).

The Elixir coating is applied differently than other string brands, though. I think they're very good and worth a try.
