10th fret of the first string. I've been trying to learn it by ear for a while, and I always start there. Then I get lost right away. I may hit a few correct notes in the process of trying to get back on track, but that's it.
I'll be happy if I can just play it one string/note at a time. With out adding the fifth or whatever other notes are played at the same time. (If that makes sense) I know it won't sound as full. But at least I'll be able to play it close enough. Especially if I strum/pick it really fast like a mandolin.
But I think I might still have trouble since the tuning is so different. I don't know though. I'm still pretty new to ukulele.
