Default 2003 Martin D-18VS **SOLD**

**SOLD**

I've decided to part with my 2003 Martin D-18VS w/OHSC. It is in excellent condition and plays like a dream. It is a loud and powerful guitar, think D-18 on steroids. They are fairly scarce and don't show up for sale very often.

This one is set up nicely and has a K&K Mini pickup.

Condition: one small button scuff on the back, a couple of very small impressions on the side where it sits on your leg, a few very tiny dings on the back side of the top of the headstock, and a few extremely minor pick scratchs. Just enough fret wear that you can tell it's been played. You'd have a hard time finding a cleaner 15-year old Martin anywhere. I take good care of my guitars. Always humidified.

The Martin case has a few minor scuffs and a little bit of residue from tape. All hinges and the handle are intact. No odors, no smoke.

Tone: always hard for me to describe, but it is bold and dynamic, and loud. Pure Martin mahogany tone, dry and woody. There are many reviews out there that describe it better than I do. It has opened up nicely, as you would expect.

Specs: easy enough to find, but the pertinent ones are: 25.4" scale, 1 3/4" nut, and 2 1/4" string spacing at the bridge. Modified V neck, which is nice and chunky. Gloss finish, satin neck.

My price is $SOLD, which includes shipping/insurance to the lower 48.

I'm selling in order to buy a small-bodied, short-scale, all-mahogany guitar, along the lines of a Santa Cruz 1929 00 or similar. Trades considered.

Please PM or email if you have any questions.
