One other thing...."brotherbobbyb" doesn't have the Martin warranty if you read the fine print, so if you are set on one or the other, then you should go with the warranty and get it from Musician's Friend.
I have the D18P and I am VERY happy with it. I have owned a d18 before, but this D18P is LOUD- for whatever reason? I don't know... PA neck makes a difference I guess. I'm not sure. Good luck
