I had a friend of mine years ago that owned a D-35 Guild- great guitar .i bought a D-25CH the winter before last -that as well is a great instrument -One of the best guitars i ever bought for the money .
I still own my first Guild a 1971 D-55 -which is by far one of the best guitars ive ever owned . it will more than likely follow me to the grave - I would put it up against pretty much any instrument for sound and quality . Back in the seventies when all my friends were Martin people -i was a Guild person !
I am not a big fan of Fender Guilds - they just dont have the mojo or sound like the old ones -thou their still great instruments for the money in anyones book.
