Last week a friend of mine bought a new D-28 I have been playing it some and decided I needed one so today I went looking. I went to three local stores they had a few but none impressed me and finally went to Guitar Center. I was surprised Guitar Center had four D-28's and a D-18 in the store, so I sat down and played each one.None of them stood out to me so a tried a couple of Taylor's the Taylor's all sounded very bright not what I was looking for, so I got up leave and one of the clerks said we just got a Gibson J45 standard 2018 this morning if I wanted to try it. I said sure he handed it to me I struck a C chord and new it was my new guitar, sounded amazing compared to the others.The clerk was very helpful he sent me a $200 coupon on my phone and said if I could get a credit card from them they had a 24 month zero interest deal going, So I applied and was accepted for the card.
