I second using a K&K. That's what I have in my Myrtle / Adi 27.5" baritone and it sounds fantastic. Myrtle and maple are in the same ballpark, tonally speaking. So I think you can expect good results. When I installed the K&K (3 transducer mini) I moved the bass side element a little bit off center with respect to being directly under the saddle - perhaps around ~1/8" towards the 'X' brace. Intention being tone down the bass a touch as it's pretty heavy already. Worked like a charm - it is fantastically open and balanced.
