Default FS: 1989 Collings SJ made for George Gruhn

This guitar is no longer for sell, I've decided to keep it.

Hi, I'm considering selling my 1989 Collings/Gruhn F-2. This is #011 of the 20 Collings that George Gruhn ordered in 1988.
The F-2 is just like an SJ except it has a mahogany neck and Gruhnn on the headstock. It also has an engelmann spruce top. K&K pickup. Gruhn gave Bill his first break and national exposure with these guitars! This a chance to own a 24 yr old historically significant Collings! The guitar has really blossomed out in 24yrs and sounds awesome! The guitar is in near mint condition and all original except for K&K pickup. It also has a newer Collings case. No longer for sell.

This is a photo of George Gruhn playing my guitar. The photo was copied out of the George Gruhn and Walter Carter book (Acoustic Guitars and Other Fretted Instruments, A photographic History), published in 1993. If you look at the flame pattern on the maple just bellow the heal you can see that both guitars are the same.
