IMO, the slightly narrower width takes a bit of getting used to, but not much. I think the GK Pro (I have the Blanca cypress) is closer than the GK Studio to tradition in that respect. The Studio (Blanca and Negra) is a little more of a crossover, but I think a good value in its price range. Whether it is Blanca or Negra doesn't make much difference plugged in (I'm not sure there is that much difference between the Pro and the Studio for that matter....)
