Thanks Louie.... That really is what I'm trying to get done.
If the "factory spec' setting isn't to my liking, then I will have it changed from there. But, I've been really happy with the way my other Taylor's have felt.
I think the one I just got might have been "adjusted" to someone else's preference. In any event, I'm taking it to Elderly next week. There is a great guitar tech there (actually, many, I'm sure) that is quite familar with Taylor's. He's going to install a clear pickguard, a new bone saddle, and then do a pro set-up.
