Default Poser ! Not !

Based on my take on his history, he has been playing regularly on stage since the age of 8 years old so IMO he's paid his dues sufficiently as to not be considered a poser no matter what his attire.

Re. his attire: Many of the old school blues men (Muddy Waters, J.L. Hooker to name two, R Johnson, BB King to name two more) developed the tradition of wearing suits (dressing to the nines) when performing the blues as a way to show respect for themselves, their music and their audience. John is merely following in their tradition. Does it look fake or disingenuous on this white bread blues player ? Maybe to some, but to me he's got the chops and has earned right to follow the tradition how ever he may see fit. I am a fan.

None the less, not impressive on the harp end of the tune and the additional clips of other harp guitars being played allowed me to sleep better at night without owning one. Really a special instrument for very specialized hands, it appears.

John
