Hey ZabDart, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on both accounts there.
From my experience, the satin necks of the Martin become glossified with lots of play.
Maybe your experiencing something from the Martin satin necks that I don't.
And then maybe I am experiencing something with the Gibson gloss necks that your are not.
Its not that I don't wipe the Gibsons down.
Its just sometimes my body chemistry makes the Gibson gloss necks feel sticky. Other times, they don't feel sticky.
Maybe its the beer i'm drinkin'
Neck feel is TOTAL preference but it seems like you and me are on opposite ends of the spectrum.
