Default Can you recommend any film, tv or video with acoustic guitar playing?

Heck, or even commercials?

I'm talking dramatic productions or maybe documentaries here, not concert movies.

Does anyone else feel like there just isn't much worthwhile actual guitar playing in film, tv, etc? Music is so predominant in movies and tv and there's much good music to be heard, but you just almost never get to see it being played.
I can think of a small handful of movies wherein guitar playing is actually a part of the story or an important aspect of a character....

Tender Mercies, with Duvall
Once, obviously
Forty Shades Of Blue had some playing in it, as did Deliverance and Last Days.

Are there any tv shows or movies that might be available via Netflix etc that include any worthwhile bits of guitar playing? The GEICO "How happy are they, Jimmy?" commercials even irritate me, because i don't believe those guys are actually playing that mandolin and guitar, which makes me want even more to see some actual playing for a change!

Sorry if this is an old/worn topic, and happy new year to all.

Cheers,
-js
