Well the Blizzard puts out about 10-11 db stronger signal than the Neumann. Not much difference in sound quality when A/B test was given. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Blizzard 4000 mic.
Good to hear. The 20dB(A) rating seems rather high for a larger diaphragm studio mic these days.
