I appreciate you taking a listen to my picking and singing. I really enjoy it. I have found that if you just put your own character into the flatpicking and try not to get so fancy, it usually comes out better. And sometimes you fall on your face, but that's when you really learn. Unfortunately, I hear a lot of young pickers who can play lightning fast. but they all sound alike, Tony Rice clones (and he would have hated that, I know).
My favorite young players right now are Jake Eddy, Trey Hensley, and Molly Tuttle. And I am sure there are others I just haven't heard yet.
