I don't want to derail this because it is a build thread, in a build forum, and the end result of this is going to be a stellar guitar that will bring you years of joy.
However, divorce sucks. I went through a "good" no-animosity divorce, and it still sucked. If you all focus on the best interests of your child, everyone will survive and thrive.
I'm Jewish, I understand.
I learned it is necessary to completely discount the opinions of those that don't support you. If you are handling your responsibilities, loving your son, paying your bills, etc., smile and nod when they speak, but instead of listening, play your new guitar in your head.
A) Be a good father
B) Take care of what has to be taken care of
C) Make yourself happy
It gets easier when you see that nobody dies because you make a decision that is in your own best interest.
