I agree with this. At least you can get a general idea of what voice a guitar has.
One guy did a pretty decent video of the Eastman E10 00 SS I now own.
It at least gave me a general idea. I bought one from LA Guitars on line and I'd have to say the recording did it justice.
As I have previously said, I wouldn't buy a $2000 or more priced guitar unplayed.
