SOLD...SOLD...SOLD! After much agonizing and stressing over this, I have decided to sell my Martin 000-18 GE.
As some of you may remember, I had thumb basal joint reconstruction surgery on my left wrist last March...which went well, but has left me unable to get along with the Modified V neck of the Martin. I have tried but after about 15 minutes the wrist and left hand become non compliant. I have tried different, PT prescribed, exercises and stretching but unfortunately, they have not helped. So the dilemma is, do I leave the 000-18GE in its case, or move on to something that I can play comfortably? I have decided to sell.
The GE is in near perfect condition, minimal fret wear, no scratches, scuffs or damage. It has only one very small dimple in the bass side of the upper bout...too small to show up in a photo. You cannot even see it unless you hold it at the proper angle in the light and look for it. The original TKL case is perfect. The guitar has never left my smoke free, pet free, kid free properly humidified home since I got it new 3 years ago...This is the REAL DEAL not a custom shop...just in case you were wondering.
