Well, they are pretty rare and unfortunately, it seems there isn't too much known about them. I own one and am aware of four others (John Denver had one, Jason Maraz has one and I know 2 private indiviudals who have them).

It's been said that less than 50 were made, but no one can verify that fact. as far as their construction, they were either Indian Rosewood, or Brazilian (I've seen both) with spruce tops. The only variation that I am aware of has to do with the tuners - some were an art deco style and others were conventional buttons (like mine).

They all were cutaways and of course had the oval sound hole, oval markers and the stylized teardrop pickguard. I've posted pictures before, but here are a few more - best of luck in your quest!
