I've had them in two of my guitars in the past, but I was ultimately disappointed and I uninstalled them. YMMV.
They're not bad per se. In my experience, they require a lot of EQ to sound good. Since my goal was to use them at open mics where the sound guys were uniformly ignorant of archtops (or sound?) they didn't sound good in the environment that I needed. Considering all the possibilities, now I either use a mic or a guitar with a floating PU.
