Default sanded and buffed

so the final coat of varnish is sprayed double thickness, with just enough time between coats for the first one to not be runny when the second goes on. Because the two coats dry together as one, this gives me a film thickness that can take some sanding without risking burn-throughs.

I sand up to 1500 and then buff on the wheel.

Then it is time to unmask the bridge footprint and the fingerboard extension footprint, double check the fit and alignment, and glue the bridge and neck on
