My nephew the most difficult cases surgery team physician wishes he could tell some people to just not be fooling themselves and get rid of the fat and make sure you have basic cardio health.

Excellent post.
As a retired surgeon and one with lumbar spine problems I can relate.
I have never seen a chiropractor. Many of my of my former patients have with some horror stories.

One thing: with any treatment there is a significant placebo effect. This was prevalent in my own practice too.

There are many orthopedic "physicians" who are not surgeons. Basically family practice docs that spend extra formal training treating ortho conditions conservatively.

Please seek them out instead of any chiropractor.
