It's basically about a man running from himself, the world and dragging his unfortunate family along. He is a complete dreamer and he lies a lot and is an alcoholic on top of everything else.
Good movie and Woody was very good but his character was wack-o, narcissistic and extremely flawed. Not too uplifting.
