i agree that most taylors do a great job with fingerstyle playing. since i got my taylor a year and a half ago, i've written more and more fingerstyle stuff.
i would say which guitar you want for fingerstyle depends on what kind of fingerstyle you play. since i do a lot of rhythmic, folksy stuff, my 210 works great. it has enough clarity to really let individual notes shine, but it's not too super clear -- it has a great woody tone. i've played a couple gs series guitars that i liked for fingerstyle, as well as a 514 that was really great as well. i don't think you can go wrong with anything up to a dreadnought!
