In 2009 I saw on this forum a thread about a "Stupid deal of the day" on MF.
A recently discontinued Takamine model EAN40c for $499. These had been retailing for just over $900. Called my daughter's guitar teacher and he said this was a Japanese made guitar and I should jump on it.
There was a sale code also listed in the thread and I got this thing shipped to my door for $399. Killer guitar and my daughter still has it.
They were sold out that same day.
