Hear are some update pictures of the lullaby guitar with it's first gloss coat on!
I enjoy seeing how much the figure and grain comes out in Koa and rosewood. Another week or so and I'll start setting this one up!
As a side note, on the first picture you can see the cut out in the top under where the fret board will be. Starting a few guitars ago I have begun using an insert that goes from the neck out under the fret board extension. This adds a lot of strength to the neck/body connection adding quite a bit of stability there and it also allows me to make necks that are entirely bolt on.
