It has been a while since I have posted to this build thread, but fear not, the build is moving forward. John chose a beautiful AAA Carpathian Spruce top and inlayed it with Nazarethesque Green Abalone/Maple/Ebony rosette. This top came Romania. He used real cracked shell and not ablam. Once the box is closed, he will add matching Green Abalone top purfling as well. Since the top will be a sunburst, these will need to be be masked.
