I mostly agree with posters here that you can't beat the sound of a real amp recorded with a real mic.
I'm using Logic Pro X and I'm using both the built-in guitar and pedal sims as well as those from the Waves GTR3 guitar modelling plugin:

I really like these sounds and can't stop playing electric guitar lately.
In comparison I would say I prefer to use these guitar sounds over my Fender Mustang 1 amp, or my Zoom G3.
