I've owned both Blueridge guitars and Recording King guitars (and have a Loar mandolin). I have played, but not owned the BR-140A & BR-143A.

They are nice as well and I think it would depend on the particular guitar as to which would sound better.

The Blueridge "A" models have the wide 1 3/4" nut, as does the 000 Recording King. The necks are slimmer feeling on the BR guitars, though.

The BR is full scale, the RK is short scale - this is in the OM/000 size.

As a disclaimer: I have no affiliation with either Blueridge (Saga) or Recording King (the Music Link), but both companies are headquartered in the SF Bay Area very near my home and I have made visits to both places over the years I've been living here. At times in the past, I have also been able to play prototype instruments from both companies.
