I got pre made Planet Waves cables (as per the photo in my other reply) , which is something I would not do again. They work fine but the plugs are too bulky .. If and when I I get any more pedals . I am going to get one of the DIY custom patch cable kits , with low profile right angle, solderless plugs.

I took the journey with solderless plugs and went back to just buying decent ones already soldered. The ones with the “pancake” plugs don’t take up too much room, certainly no more than the George L and Bullet cables I used, and I never find during sound check that I have ANOTHER bad connection to find.
To each his own, but I found that I saved no money, and gave up lots of peace of mind, using the DIY cables.
