Yes The TD is a pretty cool gizmo. I agree it imparts
a certain ambience or air that a little reverb can also
accomplish. For me if i am playing Bluegrass or
some Roots stuff I won't use either ( TD or reverb)
I just don't want that processed sound. And yes I think TD does indeed
sound Processed.. But for other types
of music I find a touch of Reverb gives the guitar the
sound i am after. A more classic sound that belongs there traditionally.(as traditional as say bb king or marvin gaye
not robert johnson)
I hope i am making sense. Again no right or wrong here just my subjective
opinion.
