I already put a Baggs Anthem SL in it. The guitar just sounds great. People are kind of amazed by this laminated old imported guitar. I got a new Taylor but I can't get rid of the Yamaha. The official excuse is, well, I might play out and need a spare. They're just wonderful instruments. And with 13s on it, it does make everything else seem easier to play.
I have had my FG200 since I bought it new in 1972. It was the best sounding guitar I could afford when I was 17, all of $100. I have played it so much that the fretboard has craters in it for the first 7 frets. It has never needed a neck reset, and is straight as an arrow. It was my only guitar for 30+ years. I play my Larrivees much more now, but will never get rid of that FG200. Too many great memories.
