Ok sorry I had a laugh at your expense...
I think there is miscommunication. I can't imagine someone would still be in business who soaks guitars necks in oil for 5 days. In my experience a guitar that buzz's doesn't ever really settle in or rather settle out a buzz. You might get used to it but it will still be there more likely then not.
