Bruce has the German Spruce top in his go-bar deck, a 3-1/2" diameter sound hole (1/8" smaller than a standard single 0) has also been cut and the rough x-brace stock has been hot hide glued to the top on a 42' dish (left). The BRW back has four roughed spruce ladder braces awaiting their turn in the go-bar deck on an 18' dish (right).
